Purtell Occupational Therapy Services is a community-based Occupational Therapy service that focuses on improving quality of life for those living with a disability, or following an accident or illness. Our team of clinicians are highly experienced, and we love what we do.
Purtell Occupational Therapy Services specialise in providing client-centred, goal-oriented therapy and assessment to assist people to return to their optimum level of function. We work with the client and their family to achieve personalised goals.
Our services include:
Activities of daily living/functional capacity assessments and recommendations
Support needs assesments and recommendations
Equipment/assistive technology assessment, prescription and training (including complex seating/wheelchairs)
Home modification assessment
Home and living supports, including SDA, SIL and IOL
Upper limb re-training
Neurological rehabilitation
Community re-integration including returning to work and study
Working with families and support workers to get the best out of the client
